So long between posts, so much to report!

Since my last message, a couple of tragic events befell the sci-fi community.. The untimely death of Babylon 5's Richard Biggs, and the announcement that James Doohan of Star Trek fame is stricken with Alzheimer's disease.

Plenty more guests have been booked for this year's convention, including some big names that really piqued our interest: Peter Davison (Dr. Who, the Fifth Doctor), Chick Corea (legendary jazz pianist, we don't know why either!), Alice Krige (the Borg Queen) and Soupy Sales! DragonCon has really expanded to become a "pop culture" convention, not just limited to sci-fi and fantasy.

It looks like a mini-reunion for the cast of the original "Lost in Space" will take place, with Marta Kristen, Mark Goddard, June Lockhart and Bob May all attending this year as well!
