Whew! That was close!

I just recovered from a cripplingly painful kidney infection over the weekend.. I actually believed it might keep me from making the trip for a minute there, but I've returned to a healthy state just in time!

And now, of course, my employer has dumped a huge, mission critical task on me which I would normally have the entire week to complete, but obviously, I'm leaving early Thursday morning, so I only have three days in which to complete this task.

I'm REALLY going to be ready for DragonCon when it gets here. :)

The time is drawing ever closer! We're preparing to embark on Thursday, Sept 2nd. Remember, the hotels where the convention is being held have wireless internet access, so whenever possible, I'll be blogging and posting pictures during the festivities. If you can't be there, this may be the closest thing!

A few celebrities have unfortunately cancelled their appearance, including Alice Krige, David Prowse and Anthony Michael Hall. David Caradine was out as well, but now he's back in. Regardless of who's appearing, there's always something to see and do!
